Il sistema comprende n. 39 varchi di cui n. 30 da installare presso l"aeroporto di Malpensa e n. 9 presso l"aeroporto di Linate. I varchi forniti devono essere tutti della medesima marca e del medesimo modello. La soluzione proposta dovrà essere conforme a quanto specificato in «Frontex Best Practice Operational/Techincal Guidelines for Automated Border Control (ABC) Systems version 2.0».
